Phil’s Story:
My real estate career began in 1994 when I was helped by my friend Michael to fix a house so it could be sold to avoid foreclosure. Several years later in 2001, with my wife Sandra, I started my first real estate business. 1st American Homes was a real estate sales and finance brokerage that specialized in credit repair and counselling for first time home buyers. That business led to several other business in real estate and general contracting. I hold State licenses in New Mexico and Florida as a Qualifying Real Estate Broker and a State Certified General Contractor.
Ethics and principles guide my life. I am a firm believer in treating others as I would want to be treated. My real estate dealings are completely transparent to both buyer and seller. I believe there are many different ways to structure the sale or purchase of a home or property so that it is mutually beneficial to all involved.
I was born in New York City and raised in a very traditional Italian family with 2 older brothers, 2 younger brothers, countless aunts, uncle, and cousins. I am a father of 6 daughters and currently live in Albuquerque NM with my wife Sandra Zamora DeBerardinis.

Jody’s Story:
One day my neighbor had a severe medical issue and could no longer afford or even wanted to be in her house. The thought of not wanting a house never occurred to me; what was always portrayed as the American Dream suddenly became her biggest burden. I realized there was a need to help people get out from under this burden and that each person has their own story to tell. Phil and I decided to start Resolution Homes to help people and offer solutions to a problem they might otherwise not know how to resolve.
We are not here to buy and sell as many houses as possible. We are not here to rush you through this difficult, important and sometimes emotional decision. We are here to listen and help you make the best decision for you and your family. This business is something I do to help people it is not my career. I have a full time position as an Engineer that supports my family, but Resolution Homes is my passion.
My wife Michelle, our three children and I have made our home here since 2000. We love Albuquerque and our community, and want to do our part to assist those who need a little help in making a big decision.
